We have identified two distinct Spybey Family trees - one based in Lambley, Nottinghamshire, UK & one starting in England and which migrated to the United States of America.
There is some evidence that William Spybey's name changed spelling during his lifetime - possibly changing from Spibey to Spybey. There is also inconclusive evidence that William Spybey's father may have been born with the surname Spiby.
